eDPI, or effective DPI, is simply your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. It creates a single comparable number that removes the confusion of different DPI settings between players.
**Formula**: eDPI = Mouse DPI × In-Game Sensitivity
Why eDPI Matters
Two players can have very different-looking settings but identical eDPI: Player A at 800 DPI × 0.5 sens = 400 eDPI. Player B at 400 DPI × 1.0 sens = 400 eDPI. They experience identical mouse movement.
