Your crosshair color is one of the most personal settings in Valorant, but visibility science does favor certain colors over others depending on map environments and your own color perception.
Most Popular Colors (and Why)
**White**: The most common choice among pros. White contrasts well against Valorant's colorful maps (Pearl, Ascent, Sunset) and reads clearly in dark and light environments alike.
**Cyan/Teal**: High contrast against red/orange enemies and most map textures. Many EU pros prefer this. cNed uses cyan.
**Green (Neon)**: High visibility, especially on darker maps. Works well if you have any red-green deficiency correction needs.
**Yellow**: Excellent contrast on blue-toned maps like Icebox. Less ideal on Haven's warm tones.
**Red/Pink**: Avoid — blends with enemy highlights and hitmarker effects.
Opacity & Outline Settings
Keep opacity at 100% for maximum visibility. An outline of 30–50% can help your crosshair pop against complex backgrounds without making it distractingly thick.
